Reporting and blocking
How to report a scenario, a story passage or another player, and how to block authors and players.
If something on RPGCortex isn't right, let us know. Reports go to our team, and you'll get a notification when a report is reviewed.
Report a scenario#
On the scenario's page, open More → Report. Choose a Reason — Inappropriate content rating, Harassment, Spam or Other — and press Submit report.
(On scenario cards, the ⋯ menu's Bookmark / Report… takes you to the scenario's page.)
Report a passage in your story#
Under any passage, press Report. In the Report this passage window, choose what went wrong:
- Ignored my action
- Broke the story's rules or state
- Repetitive or low quality
- Inappropriate content
- Something else
You can add more detail, and leave Include this passage's text so the team can see it ticked so we can see exactly what happened. Press Send report. It's filed as a support ticket that you can follow in Settings → View my support tickets.
Report a player or a shared story (multiplayer)#
In a multiplayer adventure:
- To report a player, open the ⋯ menu next to their name in the turn bar and choose Report.
- To report the story, tap the cover image to open Now playing and choose Report Story Content (or use Report under a passage).
Choose a Category — Harassment, Hate speech, Unwanted sexual content, Minor safety concern, Spam / disruptive or Other — add optional details, and press Submit report.
Reports of a Minor safety concern are prioritized for review.
When you'll hear back#
When our team has reviewed a scenario or player report, you'll get a Report actioned notification in the 🔔 Social panel's Activity tab, saying whether action was taken. Passage reports appear as support tickets and are marked Resolved when handled.
You can send up to 10 scenario or player reports an hour, and you can't report the same thing twice.
Blocking#
Block an author#
On a scenario's page, open More → Block author. Choose Unblock author in the same place to undo it.
Block a player#
In a multiplayer adventure, open the ⋯ menu next to their name and choose Block.
What blocking does#
- You're removed from each other's friends lists, and any follows between you are removed.
- Neither of you can send the other private messages.
- You won't see each other's comments on scenario pages.
- You can't be put into shared adventures together — invites between you are blocked.
- Their scenarios won't be picked for you by Quick Story or Quick RPG.
Blocking doesn't remove anyone from an adventure you're already in together. If you're the host, you can Remove them from the adventure yourself.
Unblocking#
Go to Settings → Blocked users and press Unblock next to their name. (This section only appears once you've blocked someone.)
