Usage limits
Each plan includes a rolling allowance of actions and AI usage. Here's how the limits work and what to do if you reach one.
To keep RPGCortex fast and fair for everyone, every plan includes a rolling allowance. There are two kinds.
Action limits#
An action is a turn you take — including Retry and Sync now. Each plan allows a certain number in any 5-hour window and in any 7-day window:
| Plan | Per 5 hours | Per week |
|---|---|---|
| Novice | 60 | 500 |
| Adventurer | 150 | 1,500 |
| Hero | 400 | 4,000 |
| Champion | 800 | 8,000 |
| Paragon | 1,600 | 16,000 |
AI allowance#
There's also a cap on how much AI processing you use, measured over 5 hours, a week and 30 days. Bigger turns — ones that send a lot of context — use more of it. The Plans section of the Credits page gives a rough guide for each plan:
| Plan | AI allowance |
|---|---|
| Novice | about 140 full-context turns per week |
| Adventurer | about 700 full-context turns per week |
| Hero | about 2,800 full-context turns per week |
| Champion | about 5,600 full-context turns per week |
| Paragon | about 11,200 full-context turns per week |
You can see how much you've used under Your usage on the Credits page, with a bar each for the 5-hour, Weekly and 30-day AI allowance. Each shows the percentage used and when it frees up.
If you reach a limit#
You'll see a message like "You've used your weekly AI allowance. It frees up in …", with a countdown. The windows are rolling, so capacity comes back gradually as older turns age out.
While you wait, you can:
- Lower your context — the message includes a Lower context to stretch it link. Smaller turns use less of your AI allowance. See Memory, context and the story summary.
- Upgrade — See plans takes you to the plan options.
In multiplayer, each player's turns count against their own plan's limits.
