Novice, Adventurer, Hero, Champion and Paragon — prices, monthly credits, context, Memory Bank and models side by side.
RPGCortex has a free plan and four paid plans. Every plan can play and create scenarios; higher plans unlock stronger AI models, let the AI see more of your story at once, remember further back, and include more credits each month.

- Credits pay for extras such as images, premium narration and context beyond your free amount. Novice accounts get a one-time starter grant of 100 credits that never expires; paid plans get a fresh grant each month. See How credits work.
- Free context is how much of your story the AI can read each turn without using credits. See Memory, context and the story summary.
- Memory Bank is how many past turns RPGCortex searches for relevant memories.
- Actions are turns you take (including retries). There's also a limit on total AI usage — see Usage limits.

Each plan unlocks all the models of the plans below it, plus its own:

Pay for 6 or 12 months and save#
On the Credits page you can switch between Monthly, 6 months · save 5% and 12 months · save 10%. You pay up front, and your credits still arrive every month — they aren't all granted at once.

Other things that depend on your plan#
- How long idle adventures are kept. Unplayed adventures are archived after 30 days on Novice or 60 days on a paid plan, and deleted after about 60 or 120 days. See Saves, archiving and backups.
- In multiplayer, each player's own plan decides their usage limits and which models they can pick; the Memory Bank follows the host's plan. See Playing with friends.
Subscribing#
Open the ☰ menu → Credits, choose a plan length, and press Switch on the plan you want. Payment is handled securely by Stripe. See Managing your subscription.
